the idea behind it

FLINCH: PREDATOR

the sequel where you stop dodging and start hunting.

play PREDATOR →

FLINCH taught you to touch nothing. PREDATOR turns that on its head. Now you are the danger, and everything else is trying to get away. You lunge through the red to shatter it, and the kills chain, so the reward is not caution any more. It is nerve of a different kind: how deep into the swarm will you dive before you pull out.

Why it exists

A sequel is boring if it is just more of the same, harder. PREDATOR keeps FLINCH's exact feel, the same dot, the same dash, and flips the one rule that mattered. Where FLINCH rewarded the smallest, safest miss, PREDATOR rewards the greediest dive. Picking off one safe target barely pays; throwing yourself into the middle of the pack and chaining the kills pays enormously. Same hands, opposite instinct.

How to play

Move to aim yourself. Lunge to strike, and land your hits close together to keep the chain alive, because a broken chain resets the reward. The pull is always to go one more, one deeper, one riskier, right up to the edge of not getting back out.
