Lucky Dummy is a little ragdoll and a big drop. You build a crash-test dummy in the garage, flick him off the top of a mountain of pegs, and get paid by wherever he happens to bounce, tumble and land. You set the throw. After that, physics is in charge, and watching where it takes him is the whole joy.
a working prototypeWhy it is fun
Half the pleasure of a ragdoll is that you cannot fully steer it. You aim, you commit, and then you have to watch, hoping, as the little guy clatters down through the pegs toward the good landing you were picturing, or somewhere far sillier. Every drop is different, and the ones that go wrong are often funnier than the ones that go right.
How it loops
Land him well and you get paid. Spend the winnings on a better dummy, a heavier head, a luckier build, and flick again, reaching for landings you could not touch before. It is the spend-and-flick-again loop of a roguelite, wrapped around one very daft little man and a hill of pegs.
