Each story reads itself aloud in a soft, slow voice, and every scene is cut from paper and lit low, so the whole thing winds a child down rather than winding them up.
Why it exists
A bedtime screen is usually the enemy of sleep: bright, loud, endless, made to keep a child hooked. Hushpaper is built to do the opposite. It is short, it is gentle, it always ends, and the child is not a passive watcher, they are helping make the story, which is the good part of a screen without the bad. And because you can record your own voice, the story can be read to them in the voice they most want to hear, even when you cannot be in the room.
